She came, she performed, she conquered and RiRi left us with nothing but a whole lotta love on the brain.
Perhaps one of the most highly anticipated acts during Saturday night’s Global Citizen Festival was bad girl RiRi, who closed out the show in New York’s Central Park stage completely CRUSHING smash hit after smash hit, but before breaking into her set, Rihanna managed to crank up the anticipation level from the crowd after arriving a few minutes late. But thanks to the musical talents and hilarity of Chris Martin, the audience was in great hands for the time being…
But Rihanna didn’t keep the crowd waiting for much longer after she finally arrived and began performing some of her greatest hits that included, “Stay,”, “Cake”, “Pour It Up” and “Love on the Brain” to name a few…
RiRi also asked the audience to participate in a little ‘vent sesh’ as she called it, when she broke out into the emotionally frustrated ballad that we all loooove to belt at the top of our lungs in the car, “Four Five Seconds”.
Rihanna closed out the festival following many other acts that included Demi Lovato, Kendrick Lamar, Eddie Vedder, Major Lazer, Usher, Ellie Goulding and of course, the event’s creative director and Coldplay front runner, Chris Martin, making this yet another successful year and one step closer to ending extreme poverty around the world by 2030.
But now that you got a taste of what went down on Saturday, I want to know all your thoughts on Rihanna’s performances, and which act was your favorite, so get to talking right down here in the comments section, and after that, you can click right over here if you’re all festival-ed out and are in need of a few workout tools as tested on Beauty Break, and of course, don’t forget to hit that subscribe button.
