The show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, has confirmed that American Horror Story Season 7 will tackle the 2016 US election…

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Ryan revealed that season seven of his anthology series will center around last year’s election that saw Donald Trump beat out democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

Andy Cohen followed up the reveal by asking if there would be a character based on President Trump in the show, and Ryan’s coy response hinted that there just might be…

Or maybe there won’t be. That guy has one serious poker face. Either way, I’m already getting scared for this season…American Horror Story’s previous themes include an Insane Asylum, a murderous Witches’ Coven, and a Freak Show, so the 2016 election should feel right at home!

  1. Last season of the reality tv show was the worst imo. People really want creative themes like the circus and asylum. Really the election?
